Fall Wedding - Dundas Valley – Hamilton, Ontario

Brides in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, get ready to be inspired by Brittany and Alyson's incredible wedding day at Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club.

Wedding Ceremony in the Ballroom at Dundas Valley

The day began with both brides getting ready, separately, surrounded by exquisite florals and lots of accessories in their hotel rooms. Both Britt & Aly were calm, but the anticipation and excitement filled both rooms as they prepared for their special day.

One of the highlights of the day was their first look at the venue. Britt & Aly chose to have a private first look, and it ended up being a very touching moment. We found an area surrounded by a backdrop of autumn leaves. Aly was asked to stand facing away from the entrance, and Britt was asked to close her eyes as she was brought to the first look location by a golf cart.

The couple stood back-to-back, holding hands and exchanged a few words about how their mornings went. After taking a few steps apart, 'on 3,' they faced each other. This was by far the best first look reaction I've witnessed. The genuine surprise and joy on their faces made it an unforgettable first look. You could feel the love between these two from a mile away.

The team at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club was so accommodating. After a brief couple session, Britt & Aly were joined by family and the wedding party for photos around the property. The team guided everyone by golf carts for ease and efficiency.

Before the ceremony, Britt had a special moment teeing off with her dad. It was a cute moment that showcased the bond between Britt and her father - her dad couldn’t keep a smile off his face. Missing the first swing, Britt proved why golfing in a dress is a challenge.

The indoor ceremony, overlooking the picturesque grounds of Dundas Valley, was emotional and moved guests to tears. The venue's lush rolling hills and scenic Niagara Escarpment beauty added to the emotional atmosphere, creating a truly unforgettable experience. The space, accommodating up to 200 guests, seamlessly transforms from ceremony to reception, while guests enjoy cocktail hour.

While weather prevented a sunset session, the couple made the most of their time, enjoying a drink at the bar with guests indulging in appetizers and drinks.

The reception was a lively celebration, commencing with Britt and Alyson's first dance. With a friend as the MC, the room resonated with laughter and joy throughout the night. A unique touch was added with a dice game determining when the couple would share kisses, adding an element of fun and surprise to the evening. Between courses, guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches and touching father-daughter dances.

The dance floor was nothing short of incredible with almost all guests on their feet! Britt and Alyson's wedding day was a perfect example of an elegant yet laid back wedding filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments!
